Kings Fish Bar & Restaurant

We had a great experience at this fish and chips restaurant! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. The portions were generous, and the food was fresh and tasty – definitely good value for money. They also have a nice kids’ menu with options that are perfect for little ones. It’s a great spot for families, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Proper chippy! Delicious fresh fish with crunchy batter, perfect chips, tasty battered sausage - all big portions. Staff were really friendly too, would definitely recommend dropping in.

What an incredible Fish and Chip shop. Firstly the staff are so lovely. Not sure I have ever been in a fish and chip shop that feels like a community. The quality of the fish and chips are the best I have ever tasted...... Ever. We were the last to order and they made anything fresh. No quibbles and with a smiles. I thank you so much for a delicious evening.

I don’t worry too much about atmosphere, it’s just a chippy, but service is friendly, efficient and the food was very good. I had hake, chips and mushy peas, the fish was fresh delicious, nicely cooked and huge. I would confidently recommend this place.

I called in here with my grandsons recently. It was at their recommendation, they are 8 and 10 yrs old. It was like going back in time to a period decades ago. The decoration was as I would have expected in my youth, bright, sharp, practical, and spotlessly clean. There is plenty of room to sit comfortably at the tables, not cramped like many places. They even give you chairs that can move and adjust for your comfort, not fixed and rigidly tied to the table. Just like the old days. The atmosphere was warm and friendly with a good rapport from the owners. You just can't beat happy smiling faces from behind the counter to make you feel wanted and valued as a customer. Would I recommend, most definitely, I'm going back to try their fish, which looked delicious. PS. We had better portions and more to eat than at KFC in Silverhill on our last dine out. Plus, it was cheaper.

Luckily the original fish and chip shop we were going to had closed. We decided to try here instead. It was our luck; friendly staff and spotlessly clean and really tasty with extra large portions. Brill

The food was delicious and generous portions. The fish had a light crispy batter and the chips were cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and we were served quickly. Also, you get a lovely little pot of tea so if you drink it black you don't have to worry about milk ending up in the cup. Also, the coffee was delicious. All in all, an excellent meal.

They serve the most delicious Chips and Spam Fritters I've ever tasted, and the servings are extremely generous, the staff are always very friendly, polite and always welcoming, which is why I always go to Kings Fish and Chips. They're the best.
